• 4 okra pods (also called ladyfinger or bhindi)
• 1 cup of water
• 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
• 1/4 cup of water (for cornstarch mixture)
• 1 tablespoon of almond oil
• 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

 

Instructions:

1. Cut 4 okra pods into small slices. Place the okra slices in a saucepan and add 1 cup of water.

2. Boil the mixture for 10 minutes. Add more water if needed.

3. Once you get a sticky mixture, turn off the stove and let it cool completely.

4. Blend the mixture well in an electric mixer until it becomes creamy. Filter the mixture using gauze or a piece of cloth to remove any impurities.

5. In a separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1/4 cup of water.

6. Add the cornstarch mixture to the okra mixture and blend well.

7. Place the combined mixture in a saucepan and cook over very low heat, stirring constantly.

8. Once it becomes creamy, turn off the stove and let it cool slightly. Filter the mixture again to remove any lumps.

9. Add 1 tablespoon of almond oil and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to the mixture. Mix well to combine.
